Key Details of the All-Electric Range Rover Sport
The electric vehicle will be built on the 800V MLA platform and equipped with a 100kWh lithium-ion battery. It will feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, providing a range of over 500 kilometers according to WLTP standards. Officially expected to be unveiled in the second half of 2025.
Jaguar Land Rover reported in June that the number of customers waiting for the fully electric Range Rover Sport has surpassed 38,000, a 137% increase from the 16,000 reported in February.
The electric Range Rover was made available for order last December and has been marketed as “the quietest and most elegant Range Rover in history.” It promises excellent performance on various terrains, weather conditions, and road surfaces due to its low traction requirement.
The growing popularity and large customer base for the new electric Range Rover model could establish Land Rover strongly in the electric vehicle market. Considering the number of pending orders and user interest, this vehicle is likely to make a significant impact in the market.
